Company
We build the software we wished the operators had.
We build AI that does the operating work in commercial landscape and grounds maintenance. We come from running operations and building infrastructure, not from the landscape software industry, which we consider an advantage.
Why we started
We spent a year inside the production data of large landscape groups, trying to answer questions that ought to have been easy. What did that job actually cost. Which branches lose customers and why. How much driving was avoidable. The data was always there. The answers never were, because nobody had the hours to go and get them.
What changed is that AI can now do the reading, the costing and the chasing that operators have never had the staff for. That is a better business than another reporting module, and a much better deal for the operator.
Where we come from
We have run multi-entity portfolios and brand rollups ourselves, and built the infrastructure underneath them. That is the part of this industry we understand best: what it takes to hold eleven local brands together without flattening the thing each one was bought for.
It is also why we do not open with a migration plan. We have been on the other side of one.
How we are different
- We start with your data, not with a demo
- We tell you how confident we are, including where we cannot prove something yet
- We sell work that gets done, not seats that let people do work
- Two products, Canopy and Trellis, so you never have to replace a system to get value
- One set of numbers across a group, without standardizing everything first
- Your operating history is exportable in full, whenever you ask
- You can subscribe, or license the software and run it yourself
Two ways to own it
Most operators want somebody else to run the software. Some want the software to be an asset on their own balance sheet. Both are available, and the second one is unusual in this category.
We host it and run it
The default, and what most companies should choose
A subscription. We run the infrastructure, ship the improvements, keep the agents evaluated, and you never think about a server. Your data stays yours and exports in full whenever you ask.
- Fastest to start, and no infrastructure of your own
- New capabilities show up without it becoming a project
- Priced per property under management, not per seat
You buy it and we manage it
For groups that want to own the asset
You license it and run it in your own cloud, and we manage it for you: upgrades, keeping the agents checked, building new ones, and someone to call. The software sits on your side of the line, and so does the data.
- Suits owners who want the technology counted as an asset they own
- Answers procurement and data-location requirements a subscription cannot
- Removes the vendor-failure question from a diligence conversation
- Custom capability development for your own operating playbook
The second option only works because keeping this running is the hard part rather than writing it. Handing you the code is not handing you the business, which is exactly why we are comfortable doing it.
Book a walkthrough
Tell us roughly how big the operation is and what platform you run. We will show you the agents working on data that looks like yours, and if it is a fit we will scope a diagnostic.
A diagnostic needs read access to a season of production data and about two hours of your controller's time. Everything after that is on us for four weeks.
